EA has supported data modernization across Texas through our partnership with the Texas Education Exchange, which launched in early 2023. Through this collaboration, EA has implemented a suite of Ed-Fi-aligned technologies - including StartingBlocks, Stadium, Podium, and Rally, as well as many other applications enabled by the same infrastructure. The Exchange has already onboarded over 200 districts, enabling their staff to better integrate their data sources and drive data-informed decision making.

In addition, EA serves as an approved Texas Incentive Allotment (TIA) technical assistance provider, supporting districts in implementing systems that identify, place, and compensate highly effective teachers in high-need areas. Our team brings deep expertise in designing and operationalizing student growth measures—including value-added models and rigorous metrics for non-tested grades and subjects. We help districts analyze multiple-measure effectiveness ratings, explore human capital trends, and deliver data insights to inform continuous improvement.

EA’s work with San Antonio Independent School District (SAISD) exemplifies our TIA support. We co-developed student growth models using STAAR data, simulated teacher designations, and provided detailed analytics and documentation to guide the district’s designation framework. This work now includes utilizing NWEA MAP and local assessments to ensure alignment across all grades and subjects.
